I get what he is doing with the pivot to climate/environmental advocacy. This just demonstrates how keeping the heat on him for 7+ months has actually paid dividends in forcing him to consider other activism paths as no other activist will work with him nor can he just dial up an event and expect 50-100 people to turn up. It was clear he had expected the Andrew Gold interview to be the "final word" on the matter, which actually turned out to damage him even more. He's done this a lot in the past as with his comprehensive thread on Reddit about the COC copyright issue he posted. Whenever someone mentioned COC, he'd post a link to that thread without comment. He wanted the Gold interview to be the same.

As for the pivot into this new field, he's going to have to effectively start over to gain a new audience as his patrons who supported him over JW activism will gravitate toward the YT creators still doing it. This new audience is a world away from JW activism. He won't be able to get away with the cult techniques he has effectively employed over former JWs who were and are conditioned to accept it. He's going to have to drop his catchphrases mentioning Tibor all the time, stop wearing those silly t-shirts and really be prepared to dig deep into data unless he's going to just rip off other content out there and recycle it into his "documentary". He also has a lot more competition in this field; competition such as veteran activists, YouTubers with huge followings, university professors, media personalities and the like.

Climate and environmental advocacy has been well covered on YT and social media by far more qualified people that him. His crybaby attitude when someone tries to correct him on a point is going to be the first thing people notice about him.

Finally, a quick search of the more successful YouTubers out there reveals one particular constant - the creators tend to be younger and more presentable to the camera. If you look like Lloyd and you want to talk about the climate, you'd better have a PHD after your name.

And he wants to juggle this new path with JW activism, the Zagreb dating scene and/or a reconciliation with the wife, and chasing Kim and others round the globe to sue them? He's headed for another meltdown when reality stops by to say hello.

I think it's pretty clear that he wants to drag it out because he must finally have realized that he set himself up for a very public (and very embarrassing) failure. I don't think he can face the ridicule to come if the criminal suit goes nowhere.

That's precisely what is happening. Is the lawsuit over? No, and Kim didn't say it was. If her information is correct, an important threshold was not met - the "threshold" being that the court declined to serve the "defendants". We don't know the reason yet, but it's not hard to imagine they don't see they have any jurisdiction for this, or perhaps they have already flagged this as a frivolous lawsuit. My guess is they have chosen one of those two options and Lloyd has gone rogue and had filed something himself as a motion for the court to reconsider its decision by presenting new "evidence" of defamation.

So he's telling everyone that the lawsuit is still active but is hiding the information that the court is not inclined to hear this. It's in his interest to keep dragging this out and keep making motions the court needs to consider. At some point they will dismiss the case.

This is actually an Extinction Rebellion event, oddly held at a Croatian coastal resort town instead of in Zagreb where policy is actually formulated. Extinction Rebellion is a leftist environmental advocacy group which is known for blocking traffic and causing chaos in large cities. They are likely planning something in Zagreb. This is a way for Evans to virtue signal about the environment and also move off of JW topics. You'll see "Environmental Activist" soon in his Twitter bio. Extinction Rebellion is not going to care about him using sex workers in Thailand, they just need the body.

And the sight of Lloyd Evans using his body to block traffic in Zagreb is going to be worth 1000 memes.

i was under the impression that it was going to be a short war, that russia’s military would indeed subdue ukraine’s forces quickly but that is not happening.

seems that russia’s military power is much less than it’s reputed to be.

So, unless Riley enlists in the Ukrainian military, his opinion that we should assist them with military hardware is invalid?

Of course not, don’t be silly. As this is a discussion forum, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. And Riley has exercised his, including telling former Jehovah’s Witnesses that they think like Watchtower. I kindly suggested that his energies might be better focused on joining the battle himself. As President Zelenskiy has stated on more than one occasion, no contribution to the Ukrainian defence is too small.

I am also entitled to my opinion that there is such a thing as war profiteers who would have easily found another one had Vladimir Vladimirovitch Putin not rolled his tanks into Ukraine.

So we have an old style “Mexican stand-off”. Sure, piling in more weaponry into Ukraine will certainly give Mr Putin something to ponder and roll back the frontlines. He can also completely wipe out the Ukrainian electricity grid & shell innocent civilians in response. When does it end?

Shall troops be landed on Taiwan to fend off another “Hitler”? How about rolling tanks across the DMZ in Korea because a wannabe Hitler has launched a few missles over Japan?

Ukraine says it wants it all back which is certainly reasonable but also impractical at the same time. Even the folks who are inclined to overthrow Putin are not handling Crimea back.

Whilst these dueling armies fight it out & war profiteers count their winnings, who suffers? The people do. It’s easy to play war games from thousands of kms away but if I were in harm’s way I’d desire a diplomatic solution.

But I’m just a poster on JWN, what do I know?

So let me get this straight, he can’t afford a haircut for his kid but he can afford to hire a whole new set of lawyers and fly to Australia?

This is how fucked in the head JLE is because he's now calling people liars on social media for saying he can't afford a haircut. Here's the copy and paste from a 6 Sept. Lloyd tweet in response to someone tweeting that it was odd that he had enough money to burn on hookers and holidays but not a haircut:

Putting words in someone's mouth to bolster your argument is "the lowest of the low." I never said I can't afford a haircut, only that I'm now in debt due to Kim's lies including her lie that I earn a "six figure" sum. Sadly this guy seems unconcerned with truth or evidence.

Evidently in Jabba's Palace, you have to quote the big guy verbatim to implicate him in anything, which is how crime bosses work. You never saw Michael Corleone take Tom Hagen aside and say "Tom, you need to have Fredo killed. That's an order". Lloyd didn't directly say "I went to Thailand and paid women for sex". In the livestream he didn't directly address it either and admitted in various ways that he was unfaithful to his wife and that he has been seeing sex workers every 2-3 months for 3-4 years. This is where the "Kim's lies" accusation factors into his twisted reasoning.

Unfortunately for him, he won't stop talking about it and in the 3 February FB statement for the first time he connects the admission of seeing sex workers for the past 3-4 years to seeing (meeting) them specifically in Thailand:

Suffice to say, not that its anyone's business but of those I met in Thailand, sex workers or otherwise, nobody was a minor by either Thai or US law and all were in their 20s or older.

Again, he doesn't say "I paid women for sex in Thailand". This time he admits to "meeting" sex workers and others. The latter half of that sentence is problematic for him because if he only just "met" sex workers as in passing them on the street and saying hello or getting them a drink, why would he have to clarify that they were in their 20s and older? Also he uses jumps all over people for using synonyms for his words (meeting-seeing) and uses that as a basis for calling them liars.

However, Lloyd couldn't quit talking about it and in the Andrew Gold interview, in establishing that Kim's accusation of seeing sex workers in Thailand were in fact lies, he called it something entirely different: "dating a sex worker".

Thai Pleasures called him a liar for saying he didn't "see" or "engage" with sex workers. Keep in mind he had earlier admitted to "meeting" and "dating" sex workers. This was his response:

Seeing a sex worker meant dating one.

So little by little, "meeting" becomes "dating", which is also synonymous with "seeing". All directly from his lips. The viewer needs to be there for all of his rants and piece them together and sort out his constant deflections and changing of the story.

Getting back to the haircut issue, Lloyd never said "I cannot afford a haircut for my daughter". What he did admit to was he was in debt and had to charge the haircut. But he didn't say "I can't afford it" if you are following. He also claimed his business was very nearly driven to bankruptcy, Tibor and Dijana were close to being unemployed, and that his daughters would have no food or toys.

Everything else in that paragraph implied he couldn't afford the haircut, otherwise why reference it and the fact it needed to go on the credit card? Oh wait, he never said "credit card", he said it was the "bank's money". I might have just defamed him.

Was it a line of credit? A 20 Euro loan?

Lockheed Martin earned more last year than the entire GDP of Ukraine. The narrative that "Ukraine can win this" is exactly what they want to hear as it will pressure foreign governments to send more aid. Knowing that, I'd be careful as to the level of propaganda we are hearing now about the success of the counter-offensive. A full Russian defeat and withdrawal is not the favourable outcome for these defense contractors, rather a stalemate is. As Ukraine hasn't had any movement in the Kherson region and the Kharkiv successes are occurring in lightly defended rural regions, a stalemate is what is likely to happen. Final battlelines/de facto borders yet to be determined.

That's why his manifesto was so nuts. That's one of the first things I'd submit to the court in a countersuit against him. He pretty much spells it out that he's a litigious man on a vendetta who will keep suing despite what the courts may otherwise rule and will do so for the next 40 years of his life if need be. Never tell the world what you are thinking.

Most lawyers with a degree of dignity and professionalism would withdraw as counsel immediately after reading that. There are many clauses in the retainer agreement, and most that I've ever read have one that states that counsel has the right to withdraw without penalty when a client pursues a course that is detrimental to the case.

His statement that he will replace the current legal team if they tire of the case was his giveaway. He's probably pushing them to do things they can't do like extradite people and put a rush on the case. I'm fairly certain that if Novosel read the rant he posted he'd threaten to withdraw. Might be why he removed the content but kept up the tweet.

This is such a bizarre 7 month long campaign of snark, drama stirring, unnecessary lies, gaslighting and downright hostility.

To put it in Hollywood terms, it would be like Will Smith refusing to apologise to Chris Rock and then going on a media campaign to trash him. Then initiating a lawsuit and constantly popping up on social media to troll people who took Rock’s side.
